Engineering Wireless Services (EWS), recognised by wireless service providers, private enterprises and the public safety community as a trusted system integrator, announces a preferred partnership with Ranplan Wireless. EWS extends its strength by integrating Ranplan’s heterogeneous design platform, Ranplan Professional, into its services portfolio to address the complexities of planning for indoor and outdoor environments.

EWS will leverage the flexible functionality of Ranplan Professional, a 5G NR indoor and outdoor planning, optimisation, management and visualisation platform, to deliver next-generation 5G connected communities, CBRS Private Networks and mission-critical connectivity systems beyond the traditional in-building and legacy macro only design methods.

“Engineering Wireless Services, along with our other preferred system integrator partners, are defining new design standards for multi-technology multi-environments scenarios. EWS are a trusted industry expert with a strong track record of success. We’re delighted to be partnering with them as our platforms will help streamline their design processes, leading to greater accuracy, efficiency, and reduced cost for their customers,” said Per Lindberg, CEO Ranplan Group AB

Exceeding requirements within the Ranplan heterogenous certification program, Engineering Wireless Services is recommended by Ranplan to design architecturally diverse indoor and outdoor environments, in particular, for carriers seeking to deploy modern multi-layer connectivity networks.

“With radio access technologies becoming more complicated, planning for these densified communication systems requires a continued collaborative approach with sharing design information, as there are multiple contributors. Ranplan supports our vision of a design platform with the flexibility needed to meet our design requirements, extending our service offerings with indoor and outdoor capabilities,” said Ray Trujillo, National Engineering Director, Engineering Wireless Services.

EWS and Ranplan Wireless will be hosting a joint webinar in the autumn of 2020. The session will provide insight into emerging heterogenous network design best practice aimed specifically for high capacity and complex venues. To join, email: ranplan.webinars@ranplanwireless.com.
