Cambridge UK, 12th June 2019: At this week’s INTEROP 2019 in Tokyo, the largest ICT exhibition in Japan, Ranplan Wireless was presented with the Judge’s Special Prize in the ‘Best of Show Award’ for its world leading 5G NR (5G New Radio) planning capability. The judges cited Ranplan Professional’s world leading 5G NR planning support in mmWave, electromagnetic property database, massive MIMO, comprehensive 5G NR system database, and the planned support in stochastic channel modelling for 5G mmWave.
Ranplan Professional is an all-in-one, heterogeneous planning, optimisation and simulation solution for Small Cells, DAS and Wi-Fi networks across complex indoor/outdoor and high-density urban environments, which also integrates with macro-cell networks. By simultaneously modelling indoor and outdoor environments and the propagation interactions between them, Ranplan’s intelligent algorithms and 3D ray-tracing capabilities are able to automate the network design process to optimise indoor and outdoor coverage and capacity, prior to deployment.
